3. Photo & Video Permissions Policy
RULAW may request access to photos and media files on your device only to enable users to upload images or documents during legal consultations and chat interactions with lawyers.
What We Access
The app only accesses images or media files that you explicitly select using your device’s system file picker.
RULAW does not automatically scan, collect, or access all photos, videos, or media files stored on your device.
Why We Need This Permission
This permission is used solely for:
Uploading legal documents
Sharing consultation-related images
Sending attachments within lawyer consultation chats
How Your Files Are Used
Selected files are securely uploaded to our servers.
Uploaded files are accessible only to you and the lawyer involved in the consultation.
Files are not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing purposes.
We do not sell or share your media files with unrelated third parties.
Data Security & Retention
Uploaded files are stored securely using industry-standard protection measures.
Files are retained only as long as necessary for consultation history, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or user-requested retention.
Users may request deletion of uploaded files or account data at any time by contacting support@rulaw.app.
User Control
You can revoke photo/media permissions anytime through your device settings. However, some upload-related features may stop functioning properly after permission removal.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share information only in the following situations:
a) With Lawyers
If you communicate or consult with a lawyer through the App, relevant details and uploaded files may be visible to that lawyer.
b) Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party providers for:
OTP delivery services
Payment processing
Cloud hosting
Analytics and crash reporting
Notification delivery
These service providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and security.
